Boutique Tone will ship your guitar, bass, amplifier, pedal, or accessories right to your door. We ship worldwide using Canada Post, UPS and FedEx and sometimes use other agents.  Some manufacturers do not allow us to sell outside of Canada.  Please contact us for more information on restricted brands if you live outside Canada.  There is no tax on shipments outside of Canada. All shipments within Canada are subject to the following sales tax:

 

Quebec: GST 5%, QST 8.5% (as of Jan. 1, 2012)

Ontario: HST 13%

British Columbia: HST 12%

Alberta: GST 5%

Manitoba: GST 5%

Saskatchewan: GST 5%

New Brunswick: HST 13%

Nova Scotia: HST 15%

Newfoundland: HST 13%

Price Edward Island: GST 5%

 

If the product on our website says In Stock, the product is available and ready to ship immediately. We try to ship the same day depending on when the order is received. If for some reason there is a delay processing your order, we will contact you right away.

 

Out of stock or backordered items can be pre-ordered on our website. Most items take 3-4 weeks (or less) to be back in stock and many are already on the way. Some amps and custom guitars/basses can take longer. Please feel free to contact us to find out the ETA of out of stock items.   

 

Packaging

Most items ship in the original manufacturer's box. Boutique Tone carefully packs everything that gets shipped out. We insure everything for the full purchase price. If you have any special packaging requests, please let us know, but rest assured we ship a lot of items every day and we know what we are doing.

 

Shipping Calculator

You can use the shipping calculator on our website to get an actual quote for different levels of service for the items in your cart.  After entering a valid shipping address on the checkout page, you'll see the different options with actual prices.  You do not need to enter any payment information or commit to buy anything to reach this page, just your name and address. 

 

International Orders

International shipments are generally subject to Customs Duties (VAT Charges) above and beyond the purchase price and shipping charged by Boutique Tone.  We do not lower declared values on international packages. Customers should consult Customs in their own country about these additional charges prior to purchasing.

 

Other Shipping Agents (i.e. FedEx, DHL)

You may choose to use your own shipping account, but you'll need to contact our sales dept for arrangements. In using your own shipping account you assume all liability for damaged and lost shipments, though we can assist you in providing documentation regarding the value of the item. We strongly encourage you to insure your shipment for the full purchase price.

 

Damaged Goods

If an item arrives with any issue or amount of damage not disclosed prior to purchase, please hold the item, be sure to retain all packing materials and contact us immediately. Please allow us the opportunity to help prior to lodging a claim with your credit card company or PayPal. We will arrange for the item to be picked up and inspected immediately. Please do not send the item back yourself unless instructed by Boutique Tone, this will greatly complicate the process. We will work with you to replace the item or refund you in full if the item is not replaceable.
