Buying new gear is never an easy thing to do. The choices can be overwhelming and often gear that sounded one way in the store may sound differently in your setup at home or in the studio. We understand this and offer a 48 Hour Approval Period on all purchases from Boutique Tone. This includes items purchased in-store, online, and on the phone. For items purchased in-store, the approval period is 48 hours from the date of the purchase, and we offer an exchange, store credit or a full refund. For online and phone orders, the approval period is 48 hours from the time your shipment is delivered to you, and we offer an exchange, store credit, or a full refund minus any shipping charges. Please make sure to re-pack all items in their original shipping packages. Boutique Tone is not responsible for any items lost or damaged in transit and only assumes responsibility once the items have arrived at our location and have been examined. Please make certain to insure all items for the full amount paid to avoid any potential loss or damages while the shipment is in progress.
Please understand that this 48 Hour Approval Period policy is to make the purchasing process more comfortable and convenient for our customers. It is not intended to be used as a 'rental tool' to get gear for jams, gigs, recording, or other temporary uses, and Boutique Tone reserves the right to deny returns from customers that it suspects is using this policy for those unauthorized uses. Any items returned with signs of wear, damage, or not in their original packaging, can either be charged a re-stocking fee or denied return at the discretion of Boutique Tone.
For items that arrive with damage, wear, or any issue not previously disclosed by Boutique Tone, please retain all packaging and shipping materials and contact us immediately. Do not send the item back - allow us to discuss this with you prior to making any decisions. If the item is deemed by Boutique Tone to be damaged in shipping, we will make a claim and it will be picked up by the original carrier. Otherwise, we will arrange for the item to be picked up and you will receive a replacement immediately at no extra cost, or if the item is not replaceable, you will receive a full refund including all freight charges.
